Detailed description

Approved for the new SAE AS5780 High Performance Capability (HPC) standard. The civil specification was developed to meet the growing performance and quality demands sought by commercial airlines, particularly new, higher output and lower consumer engine entry.

MIL-PRF-23699-HTS Mobil Jet Oil 387 was approved on.

Mobil Jet Oil 387 is primarily used in aircraft gas turbine engines, including turbojet, turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft (helicopter), for commercial and military service use, and the OEM's internal review/approval process is also ongoing. Once completed, Mobil Jet Oil 387 will be commercialized. In addition, it will be an aircraft-type gas turbine engine suitable for industrial and Marine applications.

Mobil Jet Oil 387 is compatible with synthetic gas turbine lubricants such as the US military standard MIL-PRF-23699 HTS. But mixing with other products can lead to some loss of its performance characteristics. The lubricant is also applied to gas turbine units and is fully compatible with all metals with F rubber (fluororubber A), H rubber (nitrile butadiene rubber), and other commonly used sealing materials.
