Most Russian-made fighters can use Chinese aviation lubricants. But not all models can be used. It is mainly the Russian fighters equipped in large quantities in China that can be used.
Taking the common su-27 series fighters as an example, China has the world's largest fleet of su-27 fighters. From the early introduction of su-27sk (China introduced the production line, known as J-11A), to the later self-imitation improved J-16 (similar to the modernized improved models such as su-30SM, with different engines), there are many models and huge quantities.
More than half of China's su-27 series fighters use Russian AL-31F turbofan engines (the other part uses China's self-developed WS-10), so they have rich experience in the use of lubricants for fighters.
Russian fighters, taking the common su-27 and MiG-29 as examples, mainly use 50-1-4 series aviation lubricants. The Chinese imitation version of this product is called 928 Aviation Lubricant, which is currently produced by Sinopec Great Wall Lubricant. It is a direct substitute for 50-1-4 and has exactly the same performance.
In addition, China also has two aviation turbine lubricants, 4050 and 4106, which are also widely used in Russian fighter jets.
